Washington Avenue is a neighborhood located in the heart of Houston, Texas, Making it  central location for rapid and diverse growth of new restaurants, breweries, bars, coffee shops, small businesses and fun activities for both adults and children. The area allows for the rebirth of old historic architecture, new businesses adopting existing buildings with an array of different traditional architectural features. The neighborhood is the bridging point for other popular neighborhoods, allowing it to keep evolving. Known for its night life, it also holds a good portion of green open spaces, making the location ideal for a young population of adults as well as families.

The purpose of this project was to create a visual identity that represents the neighborhoods character and vibrant life style. Creating a combination of different assets that best fit with it, such as representative logo, neighborhood slogan, way-finding, memorable color palette, and promotional merchandise as well opening the doors to businesses to partner with the neighborhood to promote it as bright, lively, artsy, and historic place in Houston.
