Overview

Time passes by us without stopping.

Time is defined in units of 365 days per year. And through the calendar engraved with this unit, we visually perceive time. The past time is passed by the act of turning over or tearing the calendar. Through the act of passing over or tearing and throwing away, we recognize the time that flows inadvertently, and at the same time regret and miss it. The past time becomes a longing memory. The longing soon organizes and stores memories of the past in objects in the form of books, such as albums and diaries.

시간은 멈추지 않고 우리를 스쳐 지나간다.
시간은 1년 365일의 단위로 정의된다. 그리고 이 단위를 새긴 달력을 통해 우리는 시간을 시각적으로 인지한다. 지난 시간은 달력을 넘기거나 찢는 행위로 흘려 보낸다. 넘기거나 찢어서 버리는 행위를 통해 우리는 무심히 흐르는 시간을 인지함과 동시에 아쉬워하고 그리워한다. 지난 시간은 그리운 기억이 된다. 그리움은 곧 앨범이나 다이어리와 같은 책의 형태로 과거의 기억을 정리하고 보관한다.

Concept

We are going to keep time in the form of a book.
In order to be a time to capture and store memories, not a time to tear and throw away, the calendar took the form of a paper holder. The paper holder-type calendar will be able to contain media of various memories such as photos, movie tickets, memos, and airline tickets. The act of tearing and discarding the calendar is changed to the act of changing the order of folders and storing them. Time finally became a medium to capture memories, so you can take them out of the bookshelf at any time.
Now we can remember the past by keeping the books containing memories in the bookshelf and taking them out from time to time.

우리는 시간을 책의 형태에 보관하고자 한다.
찢고 버리는 시간이 아닌 추억을 담아 보관하는 시간이 되기 위해 달력은 페이퍼 홀더의 형태를 취했다. 페이퍼 홀더 형태의 달력엔 사진, 영화 티켓, 메모, 항공권 등 갖가지 기억의 매체를 담을 수 있게 된다. 달력을 찢고 버리던 행위는 폴더의 순서를 바꿔 보관하는 행위로 바뀐다. 시간은 비로소 기억을 담는 매개가 되어 언제든 책장에서 꺼내 볼 수 있게 되었다.
이제 우리는 기억을 담은 책을 책장에 보관하다 이따금 꺼내보며 지난 시간을 추억할 수 있게 된다.
