Urban Organics is an infographic which outlines the current food economics in South Africa by highlighting statistics related to household food security, and food price increases, as well as relevant land and agricultural statistics, to show how land isn’t being fully utilised to avoid national hunger. The infographic
presents a solution which can be adopted both in rural and urban areas by suggesting square foot gardening techniques. Square foot gardening utilises minimum space to allow people to grow vegtables and other fresh produce and the infographic explains the minimum space requirements as well as suggests beneficial plants to aid in getting started quickly.
