Why do players customize their equipment?

Players are much professional and they value feelings and sentiments. There can be various reasons for the goalies to want to change the color of their pads.

It can be their lucky color, or the color of the first gift from their parents, or their favorite player might have used the same color pads. The one difficulty is that, finding color tapes in the local markets is not easy.  It is more likely you will find numerous shades and colors online. Several tutorials are available on the internet on removing existing pad tapes and adding a new colored tape.
