Eiðiskollur·Faroe Island

Hin roðin, sum skínur á sumri í líð,
hin ódnin, sum týnir mangt lív vetrartíð,
og myrkrið, sum fjalir mær bjartasta mál,
og ljósið, sum spælir mær sigur í sál:
alt streingir, ið tóna, sum vága og vóna,
at eg verji Føroyar, mítt land.

These pictures were taken in the northwest of faroe island, where the riffle cliffs meet a deep sea. Where in summer majestic colors are drawn on the cliffs and in winter the storm hits. On every hill there is a mystical atmosphere and the sea tells its stories. Nature rules here. Unpredictable storms, constantly changing currents and a cold wind. Birds that jump with the wind into the depths and glide around up and down.
Everything is rough and drawn by nature - a majestic creation.
