Made in the West Film Festival
As a person who is proudly from the west, this project was quite relatable and connected
with me as I went into it. The core idea behind my design was to keep things light
hearted juxtaposed with serious problems. I wanted the robot to look fierce and
harmful but making its personality chill and relaxed. I placed the “terrifying“ robot
on top a western train station; Liverpool in this case because that is the location for
the event, I kept it subtly so if you know you know. The robot is eating the infamous
Falafel wrap to get charged as a portal has opened where evil droids have come to
conquer earth.
As a deliverable I created multiple posters for the client to use on multiple occasions to promote the film festival and some invitations in order for them to inspire filmmakers.
