This work was done in an old wooden school building, Japan. 

Ishida reused his past photo work and arranged them.

 

"Where am I from?" is a question, bringing people under distress. Wondering about primitive meaning, he searched about the answer and expressed with images of sea and river..  

 

Sculptures, textures and memories in the old school were involved in this work. 

We can’t find the boundaries between public and private, ordinary and extraordinary, expected and unexpected, old and new....

 

 

 

木造校舎の旧小学校にて制作したインスタレーション作品。石田が過去の制作・発表した写真作品を再配置している。

 

「自分はどこからきたのか？」という1つの疑問は、時に人を苦悩に導く。

石田は原始的な意味を思い、海や川といったイメージを交えて表現した。

 

作品は旧小学校に残されたオブジェ、質感、記憶と合わさって形成されている。公と私、日常と非日常、過去と現在の境目は曖昧だ。
