GCare- measurement of glucose levels in blood

The idea
The concept of an in-ear blood glucose device was designed to solve the problem of invasive glucose measurements faced by diabetics on a daily basis. Idea replacing the traditional finger prick method, with a non-invasive method. The new non-invasive method has already been used in the GlucoTrack device, which is currently on the market. This method combines 3 technologies: electromagnetic, ultrasound and temperature.
The device allows for painless, automatic and convenient measurement. All results are saved in the mobile application, what is connected with device.

The on-ear device has built-in measurement sensors. The device is connected to the user's smartphone. The user can set the time and number of measurements, which are performed automatically. The device informs the user of an incorrect measurement result through a headphone, that uses bone conduction technology. All
measurement results are stored in the app and data cloud, which can be accessed by the user and the doctor.

Shape of the device
The shape of the device had to surround the earlobe on two sides to allow measurement. It was also important that the part of the device containing the bone conduction headphone touch the user's head.

Measuring set
The measurement set includes a measurement device, two interchangeable parts with battery, a case and an inductive charger. There are three color variations.
