Ankh-Morpork Underground Map
A fan-designed map of an imaginary underground network in the city of Ankh-Morpork, which was brought to life by the inimitable Terry Pratchett in his Discworld books.
I used the official illustrated map of the city "The Streets of Ankh-Morpork" by Stephen Briggs as my starting point, and began to imagine what an expanded modern city might look like – and for station names, I merely continued the trend of featuring puns based on London place names. I have to admit I had a lot of fun with this.
Further design inspiration came from a Soviet-era diagram of the Moscow Metro, in which all the lines (apart from the circle) were dead straight, in true constructivist style, which I think quite suits the Great Wahoonie in all its wonderful wackiness.
