Cainophobia or cainotophobia is an abnormal fear of new things.
One of the areas where this fear is seen is picky eating (in it's milder form). It sometimes turns into a habit or behaviour where the phobic person does not eat anything else apart from one particular thing which they like, throughout their life (in it's extreme form).
