Homage, postage stamps for the City of Newark NJ
I created a set of stamps from my own parameters, placing an emphasis on the architectural DNA of Newark as well as prominent and talented Brick City natives. A stamp for each of the five wards, the project is an homage to the different communities that make up the state's largest and third oldest city. It's a combination of history and evolution, both of which are a part of the very molecular structure of Newark as a city that is constantly changing and reinventing itself as the years go by.
