Done for a school assignment, this portrait was created by utilizing Illustrator CS6's gradient mesh tools for the skin tones, irises, and teeth. Blurred shapes filled out the highlights, shadows, and detailing on the other features. I used custom brushes for the hair and eyebrows. This project was done entirely in Illustrator.
