Nu-Tokyo, 2050. Replicants, or Reps, coexist in the society in order to improve human life. Some consider them an advanced life form. Some openly oppose them, like the Church of the True Man. Special agent Chris Walker understands right away that it will not be an easy case when NOVA hires him to track down the three specimens that escaped from the Corporation’s labs. Three evolved, upgraded and dangerous creatures that, while escaping, kidnapped their brilliant creator, Dr. Fisher, and his young daughter Sybilla. When Walker reluctantly finds himself protecting the little girl, along with his companions Angelo, Yasuke, and the skilled hacker Andrea, he ends up being hunted by all the forces at play, interested in the father of the girl. And while the seeds of the Reps’ rebellion spread throughout the whole city, the agent starts to doubt his beliefs on which side should he really ally himself with.

Andrea The best hacker in Nu-Tokyo. Andrea finds communicating with computers strangely easy. The same cannot be said about humans, though. She appears surly to anyone except her stripper girlfriend, Heather. Uses incredibly vulgar language hoping that her interlocutor will quickly leave. She will set aside her misanthropy after having Sybilla entrusted to her, who she will grow fond of.

Agent Chris Walker Walker is a young and sharp detective who, after distinguishing himself thanks to his insight, was reassigned to the Replicants Department of Nu-Tokyo. He’s not fond of violence, but he was taught to react with determination if needed. His father introduced him to swordsmanship and to the philosophy of the samurais, thanks to which he learnt to deal with every case from a detached and analytical perspective, becoming an exceptional “man” hunter.

Yasuke How can you survive in Nu-Tokyo as a thug? With cunning, charisma and an elegant wardrobe.

Whether your business orbits around the uptown or lies within the mud of the slums, style has its importance in business. Yasuke is the ringleader of one of the districts, guided by an inflexible moral code but also the desire to make a lot, a real lot of money

Tommy Angelo Everybody wants a friend like Tommy Angelo: 1.9 metres of hard as steel muscles that hide a sensitive soul. A former special forces soldier, Angelo decided to leave the army and go private, starting a successful career as a mercenary. Two are his passions: big calibre guns and ladies. He loves collecting both.

Sybilla After losing her mother when she was seven years old, Sybilla Fisher spent the last three years with her father, running between conferences and laboratories around the world. Unwillingly, the young girl will find herself hunted by all the forces at play, all trying to capture her to draw her father out of hiding.

Freeman One of the deadliest assassins in the city, hired to hunt down and kidnap Dr. Fisher and his daughter.

To boost his strength, he enhanced his body with countless cybernetic implants, such as two additional arms and a mask, which give him an even more terrifying look.

The story focuses on the relationship between Replicants and human beings, and the latter’s desire of evolution and improvement, hence the title ENHANCED. The three sentient creatures created by Dr. Fisher represent to him the last hope of salvation for the fragile human race. An ideology that clashes against that of the Church of the True Man, which wishes that the luminary used his knowledge to make humans immortal.
