A PHOTOGRAPHER'S PORTFOLIO
Born in Finistère in France, Nicolas Dequin grew up near the sea, in the mist and the glaz of one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Passionate about photography and electronic music, he is part of the cultural and associative landscape thanks to his various collaborations. Today he evolves as a freelancer and collaborates closely with actors of the visual communication and digital.
In 2021, he decided to take a very important step and launch his full-time business as a professional photographer. In order to meet his needs, he wanted to have a website and a visual identity specific to the professionalism he shows in his projects.
The website had to provide many features and interactions, allowing leads to discover and be captivated by the world that Nicolas offers, but also to be able to contact him easily on different topics.
Moreover, I proposed a sober design based on eco-conception, in order to project a qualitative image and respond to shared environmental values. Thanks to this technical and creative transversality, Nicolas Dequin's website benefits from improved performance and overall user experience, better natural referencing and, of course, the lowest possible environmental impact. It also had to be of course fully responsive.
Despite a large number of photos with high weights and sizes, Nicolas' site ends up being "cleaner" and more environmentally friendly than 85% of sites on the web, while exceeding current performance standards.
