Many women suffer from urine leakage or an irritable bladder. In her book, Ilka Hameete shares personal stories, tips and knowledge about this subject. It is her mission to help women get rid of their incontinence problems, so that they can feel “Sicher (confident) & Sexy” again.💃

Ilka asked me to depict a confident woman on the cover so I started by looking up good visual references of what pose would look best. 

After this I started sketching and presented the two best sketches to Ilka. She asked me to combine the slightly cartoony and more realistic sketch and use a picture of her face as reference for the woman. For the cover she also asked me to use the colours of her brand below. 

Ilka had already sent me some fonts to use (see left example), but wasn't sure about them. I tried some other ones and we picked the fonts on the right example. I also thougt the illustration looked a bit boring with these plain colour areas, so I decided to add some patterns and lines.
