YUZA partnered with Ferrari to create an official application for their fans around the world. It became Ferrari's main presence on the App Store in November 2012.
iPhone, iPod and iPad
The challenge was to create a capitivating, custom, and universal iOS app using only data from the Ferrari website. All graphics were created by YUZA in London.
Augmented Reality
The YUZA Product Department created several unique features including a simulator where users can drive select Ferrari models, and an AR section in which you can turn your cash into cars.
Bespoke Design
The iPad app made use of the available real-estate with extra visualisations and was fully retina-ready to make the most of the crisp HD displays on newer devices.
Custom Clock Faces
In the absence of dynamic data, utility-like features were created. Here the Ferrari clock is shown. Users can select different clock faces from Ferrari models and wake up to the sounds of engines.
Photos, Filters and Galleries
...a photography feature was also included. Here, fans can apply Ferrari-themed filters to the iOS camera view - live - so that users can see photo-effects in real-time.
