MABLAB’s debut on Foundation, Asteroid Landing collection consists of 1 of 1 digitally hand sculpted unique architectural spaces, inspired by the futuristic idea of exploration of space.
In this collection we take our digitally hand carved architectural landscapes to a new dimension to invite you to become a space explorer from the future, landing on an asteroid from an outer space.
Coming from years of architectural research in depth, each artwork is a carefully crafted abstract architectural interface, that explores spatial qualities of landscape, surface, topography and texture.
Each art work comes from a process that involves hand sculpting in different mediums, starting from physical sculpting and into a 3D digital hand sculpting.
The art work comes from the project Interface, that took more than 7500 hours to develop the project and methodology plus more than 250 hrs to finish one digitally hand sculpted landscape.
