BRUNCH SET FOR VISTA ALEGRE
This project is a result of a partnership between Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Lisboa and Vista Alegre, a portuguese brand of porcelain, crystal and glass objects for table, decorative, giftware and hotelware. The lines of Vista Alegre heirs of a long cultural tradition coexist with a strong modern component, translated into numerous proposals signed by reputable international creators.
RESEARCH
Our research was about the market and brand positioning, the macro and micro trends, the production and painting techniques for ceramics and the brunch culture in general. We made some surveys, visited brunch cafes and stores that sell breakfast sets in porcelain.
PROBLEM
After the research and the conclusions were closed, we defined the opportunity/problem we should focus on with our concepts: the family brunch and how to include children in it.
Infinite
A minimalist brunch service and stackable, which responds to the trend of tailor made. All service has paintings that are continued from piece to piece, which makes infinite and compositions unique of various possibilities.
Orbital
Multifunctional plate to enjoy of a brunch wherever you want, whatever you want, with whatever you want. Although it is only a piece, the divisions are thought for various types of food.
Wheel
Brunch service for sharing and tasting, suitable for catering or home use, consisting of a centerpiece, the wheel (with a porcelain plate on top of a wood rotating base), with 4 sleepers and a central jar.
Mix&Match
Elegant brunch service with porcelain and marble. Composed of a shallow dish, circular in marble stone, a dessert dish porcelain with marble edge golden, a porcelain bowl and a porcelain serving cross-tray with marble painting details. Premium set for luxury cafes or hotels.
