This time around the casual approach yielded success. This is a single flake amongst the tens of thousands that had fallen on the back patio in an evening dusting. Out of the scores in the frame it is the only one neatly reflecting the glimmer from my flashlight, isolating it despite its proximity to its equally frosty compatriots.
