silhouettes
Silhouettes is a series of photos shot in Portugal in September 2021.
I chose an expired high speed black and white film to achieve that kind of washed out look with lower contrast and increased grain. The aim for me was to make it look like the pictures come from a long past decade and evoke a sense of poetic feelings about memory and reminiscence.
