Design solution for consulting on brand revitalization



INTRODUCTION:
P.E.T. is an existing program in the UK that originates from the USA and the teachings of Dr. Thomas Gordon and Gordon International Training. The primary objective was to enhance the user experience and engagement of parents participating in the program, ultimately fostering improved relationships with their children. Its primary goal is to foster improved relationships between parents and their children.

Problem:
P.E.T. UK faced obstacles in establishing a not-for-profit organization, which posed challenges to its sustainable growth and development. These obstacles included:
1. P.E.T. is perceived as old-fashioned
2. P.E.T. is not accessible to its target market
3. Lack of awareness of P.E.T.
4. Lack of knowledge of parenting courses
5. Lack of a community of instructors
6. Insufficient earnings for instructors from running the course 
 
RESEARCH & ANALYSIS:
1. Research: 
Conducted interviews and surveys with stakeholders (main speech therapist, Instructors, participants, potential participants, and participants) and prototype tests to understand pain points and preferences of the target audience.

DESIGN STRATEGIES & SOLUTIONS: 
1. Create a brand awareness
- Promote P.E.T at local communities such as schools, libraries, town centres etc.
- Redesign and incorporate brand identity into the design system, ensuring consistent visual elements across all program materials to enhance recognition and brand recall.

2. Change the perception of 'parenting courses' 
- Creating videos/platforms to directly engage with target audience
- Open door events/workshops to encourage and promote parenting courses

3. Create communities for parents & instructors
Create online communities:
- A forum page
- A social media account
