I created the illustrations while paying attention to the facial expressions of the characters in order to create a gentle and cute atmosphere.

Production process
前作「ひらがなよんで！」を制作する過程で、絵柄のイメージを担当者様と打ち合わせしていたので、今回は、ご依頼をいただいてすぐ制作に入りました。
いただいた絵本のラフを元に、大体の原画サイズを測り、Clip studioで下絵を制作しました。

今回は、「色彩を淡く明るくして欲しい」とのご要望だったので、下塗りはせず着彩に入りました。
耐水性の黒インクで線画を描き、カラーインクで着彩します。使用したカラーインクは、主に「Winzor&Newton」、「Dr.Ph.Martin's」、「holbein」、「DALER ROWNEY」です。
カラーインクは耐光性に不安がありますが、発色がきれいで気に入っています。

着彩後、スキャンしPhoto Shopに取り込み、ごみ取りや色調補正をします。
イラストを宣伝用に使用したり、表紙のようにイラストを集合させて使用する可能性も考え、一カットずつ丁寧に切り抜きをしました。
ご指定のサイズでPSDデータを作成し、納品いたしました。

This time, the client wanted the colors to be light and bright, so we started painting without priming.

After painting, the image is scanned and imported into Photo Shop for debris removal and color correction.
I carefully cut out each illustration one by one, considering the possibility of using the illustrations for advertising purposes, or using them in a group, as in the cover.
We created and delivered PSD data in the size you specified.
