This character re-implemented the worker character in the Korean drama 'Squid Game' as a 3D character, and was inspired by the scene where participants were monitored while watching CCTV in the play. We designed the character by putting two products, a home security camera and a webcam.

이 캐릭터는 한국 드라마 '오징어 게임'에서 일하는 일꾼 캐릭터를 3D 캐릭터로 재구현 하였으며, 극 중 CCTV를 보며 참가자들을 감시하는 장면에서 영감을 받아 가정용 방범 카메라와 웹캠을 두 가지 제품을 넣어 캐릭터를 디자인하였습니다.

character modeling

I modeled the character using Maya and later modified it to add products to the character using Rhino and ZBrush.

마야를 사용하여 모델링하고 그 후에 라이노와 지브러쉬를 사용하여 캐릭터에 제품을 추가하는 작업을 했습니다.

Home Security Camera - object 01

Conventional security cameras / CCTV are almost all similar in design.Using this as a weakness, when someone enters the house,

it can damage the security camera or There are cases where it is broken and does not function properly. Due to the figure-like shape

of this product,It may not give other people the perception that it is a security camera than a conventional security camera.

기존의 방범 카메라 / CCTV는 디자인은 거의 모두 비슷합니다. 이를 약점으로 집에 누군가 침입했을 때에 방범 카메라를 훼손하거나
부숴 방범 카메라의 기능을 다하지 못하는 사례들이 있습니다. 본 제품은 피규어 같은 형태로 인해 기존의 방범 카메라 보다 침입자에

게 방범 카메라라는 인식을 주지 않을 수 있습니다.

Camera cover to prevent hacking

Video is leaked due to hacking of security cameras and privacy is violated.There are some dangerous cases where you can get involved in bad things. For that reason, we have added an opening and closing function to this product.The open and close function is designed to be opened and closed only with the smartphone registered in the application of this product.

방범 카메라의 해킹으로 인하여 동영상을 유출 당하여 사생활을 침해 당하거나 안 좋은 일에 휘말릴 수 있는 위험 사례가 있습니다. 그러한이유로 본 제품에 카메라 커버를 열고 닫을 수 있는 기능을 추가하였습니다. 커버를 열고 닫을 수 있는 기능은 본 제품의 앱에 등록되어 있는 스마트폰으로만 열고 닫을 수 있게 설계하였습니다.

Motion / Sound Detection

It detects motion and sound to move the camera and has a motion tracking function. The rotating lens is positioned so that the character's eyes can see its surroundings 180 degrees, providing complete security. This allows for a wider field of view than standard home security cameras.

동작과 소리를 감지하여 카메라가 움직이고 모션 트래킹 기능을 탑재하고 있습니다. 캐릭터의 카메라가 180도로 볼 수 있는 회전 렌즈가 위치하여 완벽한 보안을 제공합니다. 그로 인해 기본 가정용 방범 카메라보다 더 넓은 시야를 감지할 수 있습니다.

'Squid Game' original workman style

This is an original character design product of a worker who appears in the play of 'Squid Game'.

'오징어 게임' 의 극중에 나오는 일꾼의 오리지널 캐릭터 디자인 제품입니다.

astronaut version

We added an oxygen cylinder behind the character to give it an astronaut feel, and replaced the camera cover with a glossy plastic material.

우주 비행사의 느낌을 주기 위해 캐릭터 등에 산소통을 추가하였습니다. 또한 카메라 커버를 유광 플라스틱 재질로 바꾸었습니다.

raincoat character

To give the feeling of wearing a raincoat, an umbrella item was added to the character, and the color point was white & yellow.

우비를 입은 느낌을 주기 위해 캐릭터에 우산 아이템을 추가 하였고, 컬러 포인트를 흰색과 노란색으로 주었습니다.

various color & themes

It is made in a variety of colors so that consumers can purchase products according to their fun and taste. Currently there are only 3 themes, but we are preparing another one as well.

제품의 컬러를 다양하게 만들어 소비자들에게 있어서 제품을 고를 수 있는 재미와 각자 취향에 맞게 구매할 수 있도록 제작하였습니다.

현재 3개의 테마뿐이지만 기존과 다른 테마 또한 준비하고 있습니다.

Web Cam - object 02

Many of today's Web Cam products come in black and a box-shaped design. While thinking about how to re-implement the existing cam products, I was inspired by the worker character from 'Squid Game' to design the current product.

오늘날의 많은 웹 캠 제품의 상당수는 블랙 컬러와 투박한 박스 모양의 디자인으로 구성되어 있습니다. 우리는 기존의 웹 캠 제품을 어떻게 재구현 할 수 있을지 고민하던 중 '오징어 게임'에 등장하는 일꾼 캐릭터에서 영감을 받아 현 제품을 디자인하였습니다.

Cam lens cover for privacy

There are cases where the cam is hacked and privacy is violated. In order to prevent such cases, the current product can protect privacy by completely blocking the lens when the web cam is not in use.

This is a convenient product that automatically lowers the camera cover when the application that uses the cam is not running.

웹 캠을 해킹 당하여 사생활을 침해 당하는 사례들이 있습니다. 그런 사례들을 예방하기 위하여 현 제품은 웹 캠을 사용하지 않을 때에 렌즈를 완벽하게 차단하여 사생활을 보호할 수 있습니다.

웹 캠을 사용하는 응용프로그램이 작동하고 있지 않으면 자동으로 카메라 커버가 내려가는 편리한 제품입니다.

Cam self-illumination

Due to the With Corona virus, many companies around the world are working from home, and online meetings have increased, and schools are also conducting online lectures, and there are more cases of showing themselves online.

Because of Corona, I don't go out often, so I don't wear makeup or care about my appearance. In this case, you may want to avoid

online lectures or meetings and find it difficult. So we suggested putting our own lighting in the Web Cam. It is a convenient product that

can show the effect of lighting without purchasing a separate lighting.

위드 코로나로 인하여 세계적으로 많은 회사에서 재택근무를 시행하면서 온라인 회의가 많아졌으며, 학교 또한 온라인 강의를 시행

하면서 온라인으로 자신의 모습을 보이는 경우가 많아졌습니다.

코로나로 인해 집에서 잘 나가지 않아 꾸미지 않거나 초췌한 모습으로 있는 경우가 많습니다. 이러한 모습으로 있을 때에 온라인 강

의나 회의를 기피하고 싶거나 곤란한 경우가 있습니다. 이에 우리는 웹 캠에 자체 조명을 넣는 것을 제시하였습니다. 따로 조명을

구입하지 않고 조명의 효과를 나타낼 수 있는 편리한 제품입니다.

Rubber material for stable fixation

When the product is placed on a computer or laptop, it is stable and stability is added by adding a rubber material to the hand part of the character that holds the product so that it does not fall off.
