Bolton Villa
Construction of a square cube villa with wood and glass in the Bolton area of England near a natural pond
The feeling of excessive stillness of this project due to the demands of the employer and the limitation in the choice of materials put us in a state of stillness and weightlessness that we can feel when drowning, so in the design we tried a square cube volume. Use a wooden hollow surrounded by tall glass. To show the simplicity and primitiveness of the design, we used a cubic volume with square glass, then to show the volume unbalanced and to induce the drowning of the cubes, we designed it as an oblique.
