코로나로 인한 1인용 거리두기 벤치 / 선으로 형태가 완성되고, 선으로 형태가 이어지는 line chair

As distance and social personalization due to COVID-19 progress, the era of avoiding contact with others has arrived. However, the existing bench was made in a form that could seat several people, making it a surplus space that people could not use except for the edges. We came up with a one-citation module-type bench idea to solve the problem of this surplus space. In addition, most existing benches are made of wood, so they are vulnerable to physical effects such as rain, and they cannot sit and rest comfortably because they do not have a backrest. Therefore, a project was carried out to improve this.

코로나로 인한 거리 두기와 사회적으로 개인화가 진행되면서 타인과의 접촉을 피하 게 되는 시대가 도래했다. 하지만 기존의 벤치는 여러 명이 앉을 수 있는 형태로 제 작되어서 가장자리를 제외하고는 사람들이 사용할 수 없는 잉여 공간이 되었다. 우 리는 이 잉여 공간의 문제를 해결하고자 1 인용 모듈 형식의 벤치 아이디어를 고안 하게 되었다. 또한 기존의 벤치는 대부분 나무로 만들어져 있어 비와 같은 물리적인 영향에 취약 하고, 등받이가 없어서 편하게 앉아 쉴 수 없다. 따라서 이를 개선하기 위한 프로젝트를 진행하였다.

Line chair allows people to sit on the bench more comfortably and safely and use space more reasonably than conventional benches. Even if you attach two single benches, you can sit comfortably using your own space because the tip of the bridge is designed to allow safe distance.

line chair는 기존의 벤치보다 공간을 더 합리적으로 사용할 수 있고, 이에 따라 사람들이 더 편하고 안전하게 벤치에 앉아서 쉴 수 있다. 1 인용 벤치 2 개를 붙인다고 하더라도 안전한 거리 두기가 가능하도록 다리 끝을 디자인했기 때문에 편하게 자신의 공간을 사용하며 앉을 수 있다.

The sitting part of the existing bench is made of wood and the leg part is made of general iron, so people are reluctant to sit comfortably due to rust or corrosion, and as they pass by, they found that it is not good in terms of aesthetics. To address this problem, we designed it to help create a park environment by using stainless steel that minimizes corrosion to be used longer and to maintain a clean appearance at all times.

기존 벤치의 앉는 부분은 나무, 다리 부분은 일반적인 쇠로 되어 있어 녹슬거나 부식 이 되는 부분 때문에 사람들이 편하게 앉기 꺼려 하는 부분과 지나다니면서 보기에 미관상으로도 좋지 않다는 것을 발견했다. 이 문제점을 해결하기 위해 우리는 부식 을 최소화시키는 스테인리스를 사용하여 더 오래 사용할 수 있고, 항상 깨끗한 모습 을 유지할 수 있어 공원 환경 조성에 도움을 줄 수 있도록 디자인하였다.
