Italian Gestures
This series is a project inspired by the famous 'Dictionary of Italian Gestures', created in the mid-1990s by Bruno Munari. The Milanese artist created this dictionary intending to illustrate to a foreign audience Italian gestures, which he considered unique in the panorama of symbolism. The Asian model and the explanatory texts in English, Japanese and Chinese, underline the international nature of this series.
