UX revamp for half.com came into picture when the analytics data showed us that the click through rate for homepage isn't doing well and there were a lot of drop offs from the product page and cart page. 
We started fixing this issue by addressing the homepage first where the product clusters and links that had minimal to no CTR were removed, instead replaced with product clusters that were the subset of search results page for key search tags obtained through analytics data. This way we had increased the product inventory in the homepage from less than 20 to greater than 100.

Revisited the product page by providing prominent add to cart buttons for every item and also added a new feature of "Bought together" to increase the average cart size. The suggestion algorithm was tweaked to present users with more relevant and useful product suggestions based on their current product.
Shopping Cart
The UX revamp for cart page is to address key issues such as difficulties in changing shipping option, inability to view the clear pricing + shipping, better experience for coupon and gift certificate redemption and clear grouping of items based on sellers so as to suggest better save on shipping cost options.
