An installation conducted early 2012 (term 4, B.Sc. (Arch)) manifestating the complex relationship between material and immaterial values and qualities, and how they effect each other.

The installation was conducted at Chalmers University of Technology's Department of Architecture as part of a refurbishing of a companies headquarters. It was a complex task to create an office which succeeded in having a stimulating and effective working environment no matter if there would be 5 or 200 employees at the time. To illustrate our thoughts, we desided in my group (collaboration with Cecilia Oldenqvist and Filippa Andersson) to communicate and formulate our thoughts through this installation.

By hanging independent MDF-boards in the atrium, we could easily observe their strongly varieting behaviour due to students and faculty arriving in other parts of the building and therefore affecting the airflow in the building as a whole. This approach shows a clear relationship between individual behaviour and the affect on the group, and how they also blur into each other and creates a new sum of values and qualities.
