MATERA IN BLACK AND WHITE

Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the oldest cities in the world. In fact it has been inhabited from the Paleolithic to today. It is famous above all for the typical cave-houses, many still inhabited today, after suitable restorations, which form the characteristic quarters called "Sassi".
