In Fall of 2021 I partnered with the National Rugby League of Australia to art direct and inevitably execute in the elevating of their social offering for the annual Grand Final. The road to the Grand Final consists of an 8-team league-wide tournament wherein teams are plotted against each other in an often do-or-die scenario. Win or Go Home.
The initial creative briefing suggested a preference towards a black and white schematic to enable the team color-codes to shine, with an eventual graduation towards gold to emphasize the finality that a championship brings.
Utilizing 3D elements, NRL's classic "chevron" motif, as well as bold, clean typography the intention with this project was to display a sense of progression throughout the series, with each piece bringing more of a sense of epicness than the last.
