Throughout life, the banal can begin to encompass one's perspective in a way that muddies the imagination. In an attempt to break this rut, using key visual components, involving balance and perspective, I explore the curiosity of surreal within real. By situating a disruption in the visual balance within natural landscapes, these landscapes force the viewer to peer into a metaphorical window of new perspective, as if to mirror an unconscious imagination. 
 
This series was a personal exploration into an inspirational rut. By giving myself room for the unpredictable nature of the reflective installation, it gave me the opportunity to self-reflect on my practice and my train of thought, mimicking the very mirror depicted in my series.
