My thoughts on Site-mapping and Wire-framing my Portfolio:
This is my first time creating a sitemap and wireframes for my planned portfolio website. I took a little bit of inspiration from social media apps and layouts from other portfolio websites. I wanted to give more focus on how both types of galleries (digital and traditional) would look and function in either mobile or desktop because it is a portfolio website that features my artworks after all. I focused on the general layout if someone clicks on a specific post. Now that I think about it, I'd like the experience to be more vertical, so I should've added different types of layouts as the user starts to scroll down a particular project.
As I am typing this, I realize that I also plan to add different types of tag filters (specific month/year, genre, etc.) so that the user can have different experiences as they explore specified gallery feed.
I am still inexperienced when it comes to anything web design related so parts of my original plan could change as I start to work on it.
