The House of the Rising sun inspired me to recreate the album cover because there is so much meaning to the song. The song resembles a battle with addiction and gambling which I represented in the smoke of the chimney. The song talks about a young adult who is following the same path of life of addiction as his father. I chose this because the symbolism of the song shows how a struggle with addiction can ruin someones life and take them to the House of the Rising Sun.
