The prints are visual response to my interpretation of chapter 3 and 4 from the novel ‘The Martian’ by Andy Weir. I used a combination of different mediums such as photography, typography and illustrations to make the viewers understand the concept. The perception behind photography was to create a look and feel of the atmosphere on Mars and its surroundings. The visuals created using vectors is to understand the calculations and equations done by Mark Watney to survive on Mars. The abstract-realism was to show the calculation he did throughout the chapters.
