The changes that could potentially be implement on the Woolworths website as well as the mobile version of it are the following :
Reduce the amount the scrolling ,we should put the things that the use wants at the forefront , we remove the many options they have to select as a filter for the user, it might seem like its helpful , but it gives the user to many tasks to do which is to click on my screens before they could even get to the page they want , for example when the user opens the Woolworths page they should be able only click less amount of time before they get to buying of food or clothing.
Show the user everything in the first page.
Reduce the amount of adverts on the page ,because although some of them are useful for the user ,we want to be able to control the amount things the viewer will be looking at and not bombard them.
There Is a splash screen that will show the user new products or any thing the company wants people to see.
On the main page you should be able to slide to the left or right wen you are seeing clothes ,clothes, home ,or the beauty.
There are 3 menus
First main menu showing the users what Woolworths offers
Secondary menu shows the options under each category in the main menus
Third menu shows in detail what the secondary menu has ,and can all be accessed when you click on it , and the page only loads differently if anything on the 1st menu is selected.
The site has a slow loading because of of the many pages the site has to process every single time it is loading a single page ,If this continues and will in future have access to different departments have their own separate website ,however you are able to access them on each site.
