This is a proyect made in Troyes, France at L'École Supérieure de Design in 2012.
 
Project Coordination
The project consists of designing a bench used in restaurants that can be used to seat one person or up to three. The idea is to save space in a restaurant.
PROBLEM
To make a bench for a restaurant to be used individually or as a bench for more people in bigger parties.
 
USE
Facilitate the transformation between an individual seat to a bench and backwards.
 
AESTHETICS
To make the arrangement of these benches easier, I had to do it lightweight. It has a height of 45 cms, it is stable and solid.
POSSIBLE SCENARIOS
The client is a restaurant with the target market of people between 15 and 30 years old (mostly women), not so expensive, modern and clean.
The restaurant may offer salads, smoothies, fruits and organic products.
There are tables for parties of 4 and the possibility of joining them for bigger parties. The bench would then open to sit more people without the need of bringing more chairs.
