About Project:
Cafe "Bright" (official name: Right Coffee Bar) is located on the left bank of the city of Kyiv, in the area called Bereznyaki (Ukrainian: Березняки). The massive construction of this area began in 1971
The nature of the interior was suggested to us by the location itself and some details that can be found in the area. This is how we applied the mosaic in the toilet, which is often found on the balcony slabs of residential apartments above. On the floor, we offered modern linoleum, as a material that is still often found in Soviet apartments and such that it suited us in terms of budget and installation speed. During the presentation of the project, we proposed the color of linoleum "olive green", which very delicately repeated the local green arrays and patterns. The new block, which contains a w.c. room and a storage room, serves as a new volume in this object, which we specially emphasized with a new brick with an interesting texture, which at the same time reminded of the turbulent years of the development of this region and the tiles that can be seen on the facades of buildings of this period
The area is 35 sq.m. has several levels of heights. So the height of the room in the depth is much greater than at the entrance, we have enhanced this effect by dividing it into two parts - into a light area with tables for two along the window and a little bit darker public area for communication in companies. We placed a communal table for 6 people under a low chandelier to create a more comfortable home atmosphere when you want to talk about everything. And we filled the space of the hall with vintage furniture from Holland and Germany and models that were made to order
