Ocean Ramsey
Ocean Ramsey is an American freediver and model. She operates One Ocean Diving, LLC in Hawaii, a company which facilitates dives with marine life. She gained international media attention for free diving with sharks, including great white sharks, to bring attention to shark conservation. Ramsey is based in Hawaii, and has dived with 47 species of sharks around the world as of 2019. While studying tiger sharks in Oahu with a film crew, they encountered a 20 ft (6.1 m) long female great white shark, known as Deep Blue. The encounter was captured by Ramsey’s fiancé, Juan Oliphant, and the footage received worldwide media attention.
It was a lot of fun to work on this big project. I just created the whole new design language for upcoming campaigns. I try to focus on the simplcity and adding an editorial look on the brand. I also worked with a lot of large imagery and videos. I find that these elements are the most important aspects to dive into this world.
I wanted to create something unique and unusual in this type of field including a 3D book presentation to show everything in the same look and feel. I hope you enjoy this project.
