I recently had an opportunity to create the Iceland Project with CG Artist Vikas Sharma and lighting guru Kip Corley. Vikas came to me wanting to create a story in Iceland and I was inspired by a photo taken by John V. Christiansen in 1980 of a hiker watching the eruption of Mt. St. Helens from Mt. Adams. I created the story around what type of vehicle a hiker might use to explore Iceland and recreate that moment of sheer awe and amazement of seeing a volcano erupt right in font of your very eyes. These images are the result of telling that story with the new Land Rover Defender.  I hope you enjoy these images just as much as I did creating them.
