Michal Kowalski, owner of DZIELNA43 worked for years in craft beer industry.
His passion for drinks, food and traveling leaded him into running his own place.
DZIELNA43 is a restaurant in center of Lodz, Poland. Beautiful, spacious place
where industrial, raw design meets history of Lodz in it’s prime.
Dzielna is historical name of the street in years 1830-1945, changed for Gabriela Narutowicza street, 43 is the number of the building.
Michał came up with a name that reffers to the history, same as the place itself. My research gave unexpected results – on Narutowicza street there are at least
4 buildings and a lot more designed by one person – Gustaw Landau–Gutenteger.
Our logo reflects his portrait nested in a shield - also looking like pizza shovel. It is complimented by modern typography - Normalidad Ultra Extended Medium by Yury Ostromentsky, Ilya Ruderman, CSTM Fonts, Anna Danilova.
