Towards conceptualizing and planning the brand, I was given free reign in art direction with slight keyword hints of, "elegance, and professional". Despite being given free reign, I tried to learn more about the brand itself by asking additional questions and researching similar brands in their country.
Some of the challenges I faced were with the Arabic text. It was a first for me to work on a project that included two writing systems. I had to look at several resources while constantly double checking and asking other people if the Arabic text was right or wrong. This led me to a more cautious approach in design, such as paying more attention to the alignment of layouts and what not.
I was tasked to create the layout for a product manual in a specific four column set-up. The overall layout was made in Adobe InDesign and was specifically told to distribute the project package when finalized. This includes Arabic and English variations.
Zen Ball™ is a product offered by Yani-Sami™ and I was commissioned to create an animation for use in their online advertisements in means of an intro or outro. I was given free reign in art direction and conceptualization. This was created with the use of Adobe After Effects through frame by frame animations.
Adding onto the previous animation, I was also tasked to create an official animation to be used at the start and end of videos like their online advertisements. Again, this was made in Adobe After Effects through frame by frame animations. I wanted it to have a fun and joyous impression by adding slight bounces and sudden smooth movements.
