As part as an assignment from my class "Illustration and Visual Narrative". We were given a series of stories to illustrate. I chose a passaged called "Old Folks Home: Uncle Fong". It details an old man reminiscing about his life and his desire to travel the world. For my illustration, I wanted to convey his defining characteristics: someone who is ambitious and hopeful. Additionally, the warm colors of the illustration aims to provoke feelings of nostalgia.
