This is a short animation made for web, about a grumpy old man and his daily problems. I was in charge of the visual development.
Growing up with cartoons made by Lat (Famous Malaysian Cartoonist), and Benny & Mice (Indonesian Cartoonists), I am aiming to make the style has that south east asian looks, but still unique to itself.
Samples of character designs. The main idea is that he always deals with a brat. So I came up with several different kind of brats.
This is the Kiosk Designs, where he spent most of his time selling cigars, candies, kites, and basically every daily stuff. I came up with several stylized looks.
