Flying Monsters 3D with David Attenborough was originally premiered on Sky 3D as part of their launch schedule on Christmas Day 2010, and is released nationally and internationally in May, with its national premiere on May 5th in the IMAX cinema in Waterloo. The film has been produced by Atlantic Productions, in association with National Geographic.
Flying Monsters 3D is a groundbreaking film that uses cutting-edge 3D technology and CGI to bring the story of giant flying monsters and their prehistoric world to life. Audiences of all ages will be in awe as they enter the world and experience, as never before, real flying monsters – in 3D.
In addition to the design being used as intended (film poster) it was also used on BFI's email newsletter of upcoming events.
UPDATE: Flying Monsters 3D is now a BAFTA Award winner, no doubt entirely as a result of my poster! It won the Specialist Factual Award.
