The New Nigeria team came to JayTech Designs with a goal of designing an identity system that would uniquely position them as a non-profit that is focused on the well-being of Nigerians as well as to connect with their target audience.
To achieve this, our team held a discovery session with The New Nigeria team where we were able to extract the objectives of the project. From there, we were able to devise a strategy to develop the new identity system.
In order to make sure we were on track, we took a survey on the target audience (mostly youth) to get their idea of what a New Nigeria could look like to them.
Before we moved into the logo design phase, we created a mood board which is a way of quickly summarizing our art direction.
After several iterations and elimination, we finally found the right mark!
We had to think outside the box and draw inspiration from basically anywhere. We got inspired by a frog! Yeah
To ensure that The New Nigeria team uses their new identity system the right way, we designed a brand guideline.
Thanks for viewing.
