Illustration for « Extra-terrestres ».

Extra-terrestres is a french podcast by Clarence Chatelain and Lison Madelpech.
They interview various ship crews living in Marseille and its surroundings (a family of fishermen, sunday boaters, athletes of the French sailing team...) , so they can tell us what their life is like on the Mediterranean Sea.

I was commissionned to make the podcast's banner. The brief was to have a nice view of a Mediterranean shore. We wanted to be able to then pick some details to create the thumbnails for each episode of the podcast. I submitted these two sketches.

Ultimately I combined these two sketches since a more panoramic view was needed.

I also played with the layers to create a night time version... Maybe for season 2 !
