Admittedly these "things" about Graham Zusi aren't all that "awesome," but a potential series has to start somewhere right? I was asked to make these seven things about Graham Zusi look visually exciting. While it wasn't expressly stated that it would be long-running series I approached the project as such, creating format and look that allow for other players to featured, albeit with more awesomer things than were learned about Graham. Graham plays for, the MLS Cup Finalist, Sporting KC.

 

I learned more about Graham via emails from the Sporting KC offices like this:

"Zusi helped lead the Terps to two National Championships while he was at UMD, scoring the game-winning goal in the semifinals and final of the College Cup his senior year. Of that 2008 Championship team, Matt Kassel (Philadelphia Union), Rodney Wallace (Portland Timbers), Jeremy Hall (Toronto FC), Zac MacMath (Philadelphia Union), Casey Townsend (D.C. United), A.J. DeLaGarza (LA Galaxy) and Omar Gonzalez (LA Galaxy) all currently play in MLS along with Zusi.

 

Zusi's college roommates were A.J. DeLaGarza, Omar Gonzalez and Jeremy Hall, all currently playing in the League. Zusi was also the best man at A.J.'s wedding. It appears that the two have traded hair styles since their college days."

 

Unfortunately none of that made it in. I don't always get to make those editorial calls, oh well.
