В книге заложена метафора пьесы с действующими лицами — монологи друзей Мартина, коллег, моделей и остальных участников того события. Так же присутствуют 11 актов-глав, в которых разворачивается действие показа. Приглашения для гостей рисовали местные дети, они же в последствии стали участниками самого шоу.
