The “Mini Free onion rings” is a product of the KDV food holding. These

are instantly fried potato chips with four different flavors: sour cream,

bacon, cheese, mushrooms. Over time, the design grew outdated and

the product began to lose its popularity. Besides, two large onions were

shown in the middle of the packaging, giving a mistaken impression

that onions were the principal flavor component.

We have developed a new package design for the chips range and

adapted it for the corrugated boxes used to deliver snacks to stores.

The new style is based on four illustrations, one for each taste. Onion

chips are light snacks, a dainty that is bought when you want something

delicious, to enjoy some refreshment and entertainment. The images

show four characters having a great time: one is riding a motorcycle,

the second one is swimming in the pool, the third one is playing the

drums, and the fourth one is running along the obstacle course.

The logo is a minimalistic type composition. The letters in it are slightly

leaning on each other like a handful of onion rings inside a pack.
