IKEA has something for each and every one -- not something for for all of us. We are all different and have different needs. That's why IKEA offers such a wide range of home furnishings. We wanted to bring IKEA's brand values to life. We did this by matching these brand values with the customers' personalities.

The IKEA Concept states that the customers do their part, IKEA does its part and together they'll save money. Many Houstonians have a pre-conceived notion that the fact that they have to build their furniture is a negative. We want to flip the script and point out that this is a positive. There's something to being part of the whole process from start to finish. You pick it out, you take it home and you build it. To see something all the way through creates a sense of pride and accomplishment. And this is exactly why IKEA wants the customer to be so involved.
